The Assistant Building Surveyor role

The successful Assistant Building Surveyor will become an essential member of a compact and vibrant team located in Bristol, providing a wide array of Building Surveying services across the South West region.

This position is tailor-made for someone who excels in both autonomous and collaborative work settings, ensuring balanced exposure to various aspects of Building Surveying, including:

• Conducting detailed building surveys, preparing reports, and offering expert advice.
• Managing projects from inception to completion, aligning with client specifications and budgets.
• Engaging in contract administration, design, and maintenance works.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

The Assistant Building Surveyor

• Demonstrates a strong foundational knowledge in Building Surveying, eager to apply and expand their skills in a practical setting.
• Exhibits a proactive attitude towards professional development, with a particular interest in pursuing their Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to achieve MRICS status.
• Possesses excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both clients and team members.
• Shows a keen interest in contributing to business development and sustaining client relationships.
