An family orientated, well established, small construction company based in Buckinghamshire are seeking Site Manager to help manage a new site in Hertfordshire.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a truly family orientated developer during a period of growth.

A previous joinery / carpentry background would be beneficial.

The Site Manager role

The Site manager will be based in Hertfordshire.

You will have good technical knowledge of building from the ground up and a keen eye for detail and quality.

Working in coordination with the directors you will oversee a single site with a single dwelling (8000 SQFT Luxury Residence). You will report into several of the directors of the company who all have their own specialisms.

You will be solely responsibly for manging the day-to-day activities on site and are expected to be hands on and 'muck in' when necessary.

All of the programming will be done by one of the directors.

On a weekly basis you will report to the directors with a keen focus on customer satisfaction, commercial direction, and project progress.

This is a permanent PAYE position.

The Company

The Site Manager will join small sized developer who specialise in brand new luxury one off builds throughout the home counties and London.

Projects are entirely focused on new build - one off client houses. Up to 2 construction sites are always running simultaneously.

The company currently has a solid pipeline of works confirmed and are a very stable outfit.

The company truly believe in supporting and developing their team members and really operate with a 'one team' ethos. A very flat hierarchy with no middle level management allows for great communication between all team members and a direct line into the directors.

All of the trades are subcontracted.

The Person

The Site Manager will have

• Experience in high end residential construction
• Minimum of 3+ years of Site Management experience
• A keen eye for detail and high-quality finishes
• SMSTS
• A track record for delivering these types of projects
• Excellent organisational & team management skills
• Good computer skills

• A previous joinery / carpentry background is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with people at all levels

• A valid driving licence
