Senior Project Manager Role

The Senior Project Manager will oversee several interior fit-out projects across a diverse array of sectors, including retail, hospitality, and leisure. This role is ideally suited for dynamic individuals eager to contribute to a team environment and work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the team to achieve shared goals.
  • Effective communication with clients and on-site teams.
  • Identifying and addressing potential design, structural, and site challenges with proactive solutions.
  • Understanding of departmental roles and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrating persistence and enthusiasm.
  • Self-directed with the ability to initiate action.
  • Development and management of project timelines using Microsoft Project.
  • Procurement and management of materials.
  • Overseeing up to four concurrent projects, depending on contract size.
  • Contractor engagement and management.
  • Collaboration with the commercial team on valuations and final account preparations.
  • Coordination with internal teams, including Purchasing, Health & Safety, and CAD, to ensure seamless project execution.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing fit-out projects within the retail, leisure, and food sectors, with project values ranging from £100,000 to £3,000,000.
  • A strong commitment to excellence.
  • Proficient in building robust relationships with clients and contractors, surpassing client expectations and setting contractors up for success.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Directing on-site trades efficiently.
  • A thorough understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Skilled in programme and cost control.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach.
  • Resilience under pressure.
  • Initiative and solution-oriented mindset.
