A prestigious Architecture and Heritage Consultancy is currently seeking a Senior Principal Designer to become an integral part of their London team.

The Senior Principal Designer role

The successful Senior Principal Designer will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of bespoke architecture and heritage projects.

Collaborating closely with the Head of CDM, this role is crafted for individuals who are eager to take charge, develop, and support the Principal Designer function within a specialized consultancy environment.

As a Senior Principal Designer, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing diverse and complex projects, ensuring that design processes are seamlessly integrated with health and safety principles from inception to completion.

The Senior Principal Designer

• Proven experience as a Principal Designer, with a portfolio that includes architecture and heritage projects.
• A deep understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and a commitment to promoting health and safety in the design process.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, designers, and construction teams.
• A strategic thinker, capable of leading projects and driving forward the role of Principal Designer within the consultancy.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH Construction Certificate, membership of APS or IOSH) are highly desirable.
