The successful Senior Principal Designer will be an integral part of a forward-thinking consultancy, based in Guildford. While the head office is located in Guildford, the role requires only monthly office visits, offering exceptional flexibility.

You will be entrusted with leading a diverse range of projects, each presenting unique challenges and learning opportunities. This role is not just a job, but a career path filled with professional growth and development opportunities.

The Senior Principal Designer

• Demonstrable experience in a Principal Designer role, preferably across multiple sectors including commercial, education, residential, retail, healthcare, hospitality, and leisure.
• Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and a track record of implementing these in a variety of construction environments.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with and advising project teams and clients effectively.
• Relevant health and safety qualifications, such as NEBOSH or IOSH, and a degree in a related field are highly desirable.
• A proactive, organised approach to managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all health and safety aspects are considered and adhered to.
• Experience in a consultancy environment would be beneficial, highlighting your ability to adapt to different project demands and client requirements.
