The Senior Fire Engineer's Role

The ideal Senior Fire Engineer will be responsible for leading and managing various projects, contributing significantly to the company's fire engineering solutions. With a focus on innovation and excellence, the Senior Fire Engineer will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of fire safety strategies, ensuring compliance with current regulations and standards.

As part of a major global consultancy, the wider team covers most aspects of substantial construction projects. This leads to a highly collaborative and collegiate working atmosphere - you will engage with architects, project managers, designers and more.

The Senior Fire Engineer

The consultancy is seeking a Senior Fire Engineer who ideally possesses 3-5 years of experience in the field, although candidates with more extensive experience - including Principal Fire Engineers - are also highly encouraged to apply. The core qualifications and skills sought in the Senior Fire Engineer include:

• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in fire engineering
• Demonstrated expertise in fire safety engineering, including knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee and direct various projects concurrently
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, capable of offering innovative solutions in fire safety engineering
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• IFE chartership or similar, or evidence of progress towards chartership, are highly desirable
