Senior Fire Consultant

A well established and fast growing consultancy located in Leeds is on the lookout for a driven Senior Fire Consultant to enhance its highly skilled team of Fire Consultants supporting a wide range of projects across the Northeast.

The Senior Fire Consultant's Role

The appointed Fire Consultant will be tasked with conducting type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments, scrutinising FRA's and Fire strategies. Essential to this role is a robust understanding of British Standards, coupled with the ability to ensure quality and technical oversight on construction projects. The initial focus will be on a number of education and healthcare sites but will have a strong emphasis on large scale retail and commercial projects over the coming years.

The Fire Consultant is expected to engage with clients, offering comprehensive and expert fire safety advice. This involves staying abreast of the latest legislation, Fire Safety strategies, and Fire Management plans.

The Senior Fire Consultant

• Registered on the FRAR (Fire Risk Assessor Register).
• Proven experience in conducting site visits for type 1-4 risk assessments.
• Skilled in Fire Door and Compartmentation surveys.
• Proficient in Bluebeam.
• Competent in Fire safety and strategy development.
• Capable of identifying solutions to fire safety-related issues.
• Able to assist in the drafting of documents, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrates an eagerness for career advancement within the risk assessment sector.

• A salary range of £55,000 - £65,000, dependent on experience.
