Senior Construction Project Manager

A dedicated and innovative Property Consultancy in Birmingham is actively seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager, with a strong emphasis on Healthcare Sector projects.

This role also encompasses significant involvement in Education sector projects, with values often ranging between £20-30 million and occasionally exceeding £100 million.

The Senior Construction Project Manager Role

The Senior Construction Project Manager will have the exciting opportunity to lead high-value projects in both the Healthcare and Education sectors from inception to completion. This position goes beyond ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery; it also involves mentoring and guiding less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, primarily in the Healthcare and Education sectors.
• Ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with clients and stakeholders.

The Senior Construction Project Manager

• MRICS, CIOB, or APM qualifications, or actively working towards them.
• Experience in a Project Management Consultancy environment.
• A BSc/MSc Degree in Project Management or Building Surveying.
• Extensive experience in managing healthcare projects, particularly within the public sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction regulations, codes, and standards.
• Strong communication skills, confident in client interactions, both written and verbal.
