A independent Property Consultancy Practice in Manchester is actively seeking a knowledgeable and confident Senior Construction Project Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take a leading role in shaping high-value development projects within a renowned consultancy.
The Senior Construction Project Manager Role
The Senior Construction Project Manager will play a crucial role in steering the consultancy's high-end development projects, with a focus on Commercial Offices, Retail, and Industrial sectors. These complex projects, often valued up to £40 million, demand strategic management and meticulous oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining and managing maintenance contract specifications to ensure projects meet client and regulatory standards.
- Efficiently handling procurement processes, from selection to contract management.
- Conducting thorough audits and constant monitoring to maintain project quality and integrity.
- Overseeing planned maintenance reviews throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring longevity and efficiency of the developments.
- Maintaining the highest standards of quality from project initiation to conclusion, guaranteeing client satisfaction.
- Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
The Senior Construction Project Manager
- Hold an MSc/BSc Degree in Project Management or an equivalent qualification, providing a strong foundation in project management principles.
- Ideally have at least 3 years of post-qualifying experience in a Consultancy-based role, showcasing relevant industry experience.
- Be chartered or working towards a chartership of RICS, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence.
- Possess a full driving license, essential for project site visits and client meetings.
- Demonstrate confident client communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective stakeholder management.
