A rapidly expanding Construction Consultancy based in Leeds is on the lookout for a motivated and professional Senior Construction Project Manager.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual looking to take the lead on a wide array of projects within a dynamic and growing company.

The Senior Construction Project Manager Role

As the Senior Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a broad portfolio of projects across various construction sectors, including commercial, heritage, retail, education, residential, and healthcare.

This role demands a strategic approach, ensuring that every project is managed efficiently and effectively, meeting the highest standards of quality, timeline, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Engaging proactively with stakeholders to understand their needs and assess project viability.
  • Building and maintaining trust with clients, developers, designers, and subcontractors.
  • Accurately outlining and documenting project scopes, adhering to strict project management standards and procedures.
  • Leading project teams and coordinating efforts to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Managing and monitoring project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.

The Senior Construction Project Manager

  • Preferably holds a RICS charter or is actively working towards obtaining one, showcasing a commitment to professional excellence.
  • Has a minimum of 4 years' proven experience in Project Management, particularly in a consultancy environment.
  • Demonstrates a strong background in managing diverse construction projects and consultancy roles.
  • Possesses CSCS accreditation, preferred but not essential, as a testament to health and safety knowledge.
  • Is a natural leader and team player, capable of leading and collaborating effectively with various project teams.
  • Exhibits excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
