A leading Construction Consultancy is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager to bolster their Liverpool based team.

This pivotal role supports the head of Project & Cost Management and offers an exceptional opportunity to shape the landscape of projects across the UK.

The Senior Construction Project Manager Role

The Senior Project Manager will be instrumental in the day-to-day management of the local team, ensuring resources are effectively coordinated to deliver projects in line with technical and corporate standards.

This role demands a capable Senior Project Manager who can oversee projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision, covering a wide spectrum of sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the head of the team in managing the local team, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Delivering project work across a range of sectors, demonstrating versatility and expertise in both Project Management and some aspects of Cost Management disciplines.
  • Engaging in local market operations, including networking and marketing activities to elevate the team's profile.
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities, contributing to the growth of the Project & Cost Management business.

The Senior Construction Project Manager

  • MRICS or equivalent qualification in Project Management, with at least 5 years relevant post-qualification commercial surveying experience, preferably in the Commercial sector. Experience in Residential or Educational sectors is advantageous.
  • A good appreciation of professional and project-based matters, with a keen eye for value-building and delivering client solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage teams, ensuring a mix of experience, skills, and commerciality appropriate for client advice delivery.
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining business and client relationships, with a solid understanding of the local and wider property market.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and MS Project, is essential.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to influence, lead, and motivate others effectively.
  • Must possess a clean driving license, with flexibility and adaptability to manage fast-track projects and changing client requirements.
