A distinguished Construction Consultancy located in Birmingham is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Construction Project Manager.

This role offers a remarkable opportunity for a seasoned professional to take the lead in managing a diverse portfolio of projects, with a particular focus on the education, residential, and mixed-use regeneration sectors.

The Senior Construction Project Manager Role

The Senior Construction Project Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering a range of projects to the highest standards. This position involves comprehensive client engagement, team management, and oversight of all project stages from inception to completion.

Your expertise in contract administration, project planning, and design development will be key in ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engaging actively with clients, presenting project plans, and ensuring clear communication of timelines and objectives.
• Serving as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent across a variety of building types.
• Managing the Professional Team involved in the projects, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
• Conducting site visits and inspections and generating detailed reports.
• Developing initial project appraisals and feasibility studies.
• Creating and presenting outline design proposals and budget estimates.
• Preparing working drawings, overseeing design accuracy and compliance.
• Managing tender processes, including analysis and selection.

The Senior Construction Project Manager

• Must possess a BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, or Project Management.
• Has proven experience in managing projects in education, residential, and mixed-use regeneration sectors.
• Is proficient in RIBA stages 0-4, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the project lifecycle.
• Holds Associate membership of RICS or an equivalent recognised professional qualification.
• Exhibits a strong background in working within a Consultancy environment, showcasing skills in client management, project delivery, and team leadership.
