The Senior Construction Project Manager Role
As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-tier services throughout the entire project lifecycle, from the initial concept to final completion. This involves comprehensive project planning, evaluating potential modifications and enhancements, and engaging with stakeholders to define project requirements precisely.
Additionally, managing project risks and overseeing essential administrative tasks will be key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee projects across a diverse range of sectors, ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans, evaluate modifications, and ensure project requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
- Engage proactively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure clear communication and project success.
- Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
The Senior Construction Project Manager
- Holds a degree in Project Management, Construction, Building Surveying, or a related field, providing a strong educational foundation for the role.
- Ideally holds qualifications such as MRICS, CIOB, or APM, or demonstrates a strong intention to pursue these certifications.
- Boasts demonstrated experience in managing diverse construction projects within a consultancy setting, showcasing versatility and expertise.
- Exhibits excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills, essential for engaging effectively with clients and teams.
- Displays confidence in mentoring junior team members, contributing to the team's overall growth and development.
- Maintains a composed demeanour in high-pressure situations, demonstrating decisiveness and leadership.
