Senior Building Surveyor

A leading commercial real-estate consultancy is looking for a commercially-minded Senior Building Surveyor to join their office in Thames Valley.

The Senior Building Surveyor's role

As the successful Senior Building Surveyor, you will be delivering a variety of project management and contract administration instructions across numerous sectors, with project values ranging from minor works up to complex multi-million pound reconfiguration and refurbishment schemes.

You will also be providing project monitoring services across residential schemes, dilapidations on industrial, office and industrial properties and party wall instructions on large scale redevelopments.

The successful Senior Building Surveyor will also be undertaking real estate due diligence - reviewing commercial considerations of any property acquisition covering technological, legislative, health & safety, environmental and legal liabilities.

The successful Senior Building Surveyor will have?

• MRICS accreditation ideally
• BSc/ MSc in Building Surveying or a RICS accredited degree
• Effective communication, both written and verbal
• Full understanding of health and safety requirements
• Strong understanding of dilapidations
• Ability to produce reports
• Commercial mind
