A highly organised residential property administrator now required to join a well known privately owned property company based in their Islington office.

The Residential Property Administrator

The residential property administrator must have previous experience.

Primary responsibilities include the following:

  • Drafting of Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreements.
  • Issuing rent increases for Regulated Tenancies.
  • Issuing rent increases for Assured portfolio by way of Section 13.
  • Effectively collating tenant references for new lettings as required.
  • Protecting residential deposits in a timely manner.
  • Dealing with all tenancy deposit returns, negotiating deductions if any with tenants and ensuring the return of deposit is carried out in a timely manner.
  • Issuing rent credits/debits where required.
  • Instructing gas safety certificates for the residential portfolio and uploading to systems including arranging for any works to be carried out relating to gas safety.
  • Liaising with external agents on new lettings to ensure lettings are fully executed.
  • Diary management for check-in and check-outs.
  • Overseeing compliance of EPC's for the residential portfolio.
  • Handling council tax enquiries.
  • Commissioning maintenance and repair work and liaising with tenants and contractors.
  • Supporting colleagues within the team with key administrative tasks as required.
