Quantity Surveyor - The Role:

The Quantity Surveyor will play a crucial role in managing the costs and budgets of high-end residential builds in and around London. Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
• Preparing, negotiating, and analyzing costs for tenders and contracts.
• Coordination with site managers, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitoring and keeping track of project progress and keeping the costs in line with forecasts.
• Providing detailed reports on project financials, contract variations, cost implications, and the potential risks.
• Ensuring that the financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to all parties.

Quantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the high-end residential sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• RICS accreditation or working towards it would be advantageous.
• Ability to travel as required for project needs within London.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
