Quantity Surveyor

An award-winning design and build contractor in North London are looking to add a confident and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to their thriving team.

This contractor specialises in residential new build projects as well as refurbishments and social housing schemes with an emphasis on sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• To undertake the day to day commercial/surveying activities of allocated projects
• Continuous liaison with the Project Manager to ensure understanding of commercial matters relating to the project and support successful operational delivery
• Development of project cost plans and working closely with the design team and operational colleagues through the pre-construction process
• Procurement of subcontract work packages, issuing detailed tender reports in advance of subcontractor appointments
• Measuring and valuing works carried out on site
• Formulation of monthly valuations, commercial report

The Quantity Surveyor

The successful Quantity Surveyor will have:

• Experience working with a main contractor or developer
• Social housing experience is beneficial but not essential
• Experience working on projects from inception to completion
