Principal Designer

An award-winning construction consultancy, renowned for their excellence and comprehensive services, is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Principal Designer to enhance their Colchester team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in a diverse project portfolio across multiple sectors including commercial, education, health, residential, retail, and leisure in the Essex region.

The Principal Designer role

The appointed Principal Designer will be instrumental in providing expert knowledge of Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations and offering bespoke Principal Designer and Health & Safety services.

Your responsibilities will include developing Construction Phase Plans (CPPs) and Pre-Construction Information (PCIs), as well as delivering tailored CDM advice.

This position is perfect for a Principal Designer who is keen to elevate their career and engage with a variety of high-profile projects.

The Principal Designer

• Expert knowledge in Construction Design and Management (CDM).
• Proven experience within a consultancy environment.
• NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety.
• Technical IOSH membership / Associate APS membership (minimum).
• The ability to manage own time effectively, prioritise workload, and lead projects.
