The position, based in the Bradford office, will require travel to various sites, thus necessitating a driving capability for the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities for the Principal Designer include:
- Providing essential pre-construction information.
- Developing and managing Construction Phase Plans (CPPs).
- Guiding clients in complying with CDM regulations and adhering to construction health and safety standards.
- Facilitating the creation of Pre-Construction Information (PCIs) by duty holders.
- Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
Ideal Candidate Profile for a CDM Principal Designer:
- Must possess a NEBOSH General and Construction Certificate.
- A NEBOSH Diploma Level 6 is highly advantageous.
- IOSH Membership required.
- Association of Project Safety (APS) membership is an added benefit.
- Qualification in engineering, design, or a construction-related field.
- Deep understanding of CDM2015 regulations.
