One of the UK's leading construction consultancies is looking for a Partner level Building Surveyor to join and lead their Leeds team.
This prestigious consultancy specializes in a broad range of sectors including public buildings and estates, residential and housing, education, retail, healthcare, commercial, and insurance.
The Partner Building Surveyor role
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor looking to progress into a Partner level position, to not only lead but also develop the existing Building Surveying team within a dynamic and supportive environment.
The successful Partner level Building Surveyor will be responsible for:
- Leading and developing the existing Building Surveying team.
- Being heavily involved in key client development, financial forecasting, team management, and growth.
- Hands-on delivery of building surveying services, leading projects from inception through to completion.
- Client management and development, ensuring strong and productive relationships.
- Supervising, managing, and mentoring junior members of the team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous professional development.
- Conducting technical reviews and maintaining high standards of service.
The Partner Building Surveyor
- Chartered status with a relevant professional body (e.g., MRICS).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within building surveying, capable of managing and developing teams.
- Extensive experience working across multiple sectors, including public buildings, residential, education, retail, healthcare, commercial, and insurance.
- Demonstrable ability in client management and development, with a track record of maintaining and growing client relationships.
- Experience in financial forecasting and contributing to the strategic direction of a surveying team or consultancy.
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to lead projects and deliver services to the highest standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to mentor and develop junior staff.
