A thriving, expanding multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Newcastle is actively seeking a dynamic Junior CDM Consultant / Principal Designer. This role is a remarkable opportunity for an individual with aspirations to progress into a leadership position within the next few years, offering a clear path to elevate their career to new heights.

In the initial stages, the Junior CDM Advisor / Principal Designer will work closely with the current Principal Designer, focusing on ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, and assisting in the development of Construction Phase Plans and Pre-Construction Information. This role is not only pivotal for the immediate needs of the consultancy but also serves as a stepping stone for career advancement, especially with the anticipated transition of the current Principal Designer.

This position is also ideally suited for an Assistant Principal Designer looking to enhance their skill set and embrace greater responsibilities.

The Junior CDM Consultant's Role:

  • Delivering a comprehensive CDM Advisor service to a diverse clientele.
  • Providing expert guidance to ensure client adherence to CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Skillful production and understanding of Construction Phase Plans.
  • Supporting the incumbent Principal Designer.
  • Demonstrating a robust understanding of CDM Regulations 2015.

The Junior CDM Consultant:

  • Should possess a NEBOSH certificate in Construction Health & Safety.
  • IOSH membership and APS accreditation are highly desirable.
  • Experience in advising on CDM compliance is advantageous.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the CDM sector.
  • A background in construction is essential.
