An ambitious consultancy, with a notable presence in Glasgow and Edinburgh, is actively searching for a Senior Fire Risk Assessor to enhance its rapidly growing Fire Risk Assessor division. This pivotal role represents a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute significantly to a variety of challenging projects across the residential, commercial, HMO, and high-rise sectors.
The Senior Fire Risk Assessor's Role
The selected Senior Fire Risk Assessor will be entrusted with the autonomous management of projects, executing comprehensive Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments. This role is not only about assessing risk but also about ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance across multiple project types, making a tangible difference in the communities we serve.
The Senior Fire Risk Assessor
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the field.
- Registration on the TFRAR register at Tier 2 or 3 is essential.
- Experience in conducting Type 1-4 fire risk assessments, with training provided for those seeking to enhance their expertise.
- Skilled in undertaking compartmentation surveys to ensure the integrity of fire safety measures.
- Holds a professional membership with IFE/IFSM, underscoring a commitment to the highest standards of fire safety.
- Experienced across a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, and retail, bringing a broad perspective to the role.
- Exceptional client-facing abilities, ensuring all technical deliveries meet the consultancy's rigorous standards.
- Dedicated to supporting the development of documents, policies, and procedures that enhance fire safety.
