Fire Consultant Opportunity

Are you an ambitious Fire Consultant ready to join a leading fire consultancy in North London? This established firm is seeking a talented Fire Consultant to join their technically proficient team. The Fire Consultant Role

As a Fire Consultant, you will conduct type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments, review existing FRAs and fire strategies, and provide expert advice on British Standards. Your role will include quality and technical monitoring on construction projects, ensuring compliance with current fire safety legislation and strategies.

You will liaise directly with clients, offering comprehensive and competent fire safety advice. This includes developing fire safety strategies and management plans, and ensuring all activities meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments
• Review and develop Fire Risk Assessments and strategies
• Perform Fire Door and Compartmentation surveys
• Use Bluebeam software for assessments and documentation
• Develop fire safety strategies and identify solutions to fire safety issues
• Prepare necessary documents, policies, and procedures
• Stay updated with current fire safety legislation
• Engage with clients to provide expert advice and solutions

Requirements:

• Must be on the FRAR register (Fire Risk Assessor Register)
• Experience conducting type 1-4 risk assessments
• Proficiency in Fire Door and Compartmentation surveys
• Familiarity with Bluebeam software
• Strong understanding of fire safety and strategy development
• Ability to identify and solve fire safety-related problems
• Interest in career progression within the risk assessment industry
