Based near Finchley, London, this role offers a unique opportunity to work under the guidance of a Senior Surveyor, contributing to the estimation and cost planning of high-end residential construction projects. The Role: As a Mid-Level Construction Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in our ongoing and upcoming projects, ensuring accurate and competitive cost estimates, budget management, and financial forecasting. Your week will be versatile, splitting your time between home, our Finchley office, and on-site visits, offering a balanced mix of remote work and direct project engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications, and identifying key cost factors.
• Work closely with the Senior Surveyor to develop comprehensive cost plans and budgets for luxury residential projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure cost-effective solutions and project feasibility.
• Conduct site visits to gather information necessary for accurate estimation and project planning.
• Utilize industry-standard software and methodologies for estimation and reporting.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, with a strong background in residential projects, luxury sector experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in cost estimation.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with construction software and estimation technology (Excel is an absolute must)
• A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to a hybrid work schedule.

In Return:

• Salary range of £40,000 - £60,000, commensurate with experience.
