The Construction Project Manager Role
As a Construction Project Manager in this vital role, you will be managing a variety of ambitious projects across diverse sectors such as mixed-use developments, science and education facilities, healthcare environments, heritage sites, and hotel constructions. This position requires a strategic and hands-on approach to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meticulous project planning and execution, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned with client goals and industry standards.
- Effective management of project budgets, maintaining financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Strategic procurement and resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources.
- Conducting thorough on-site inspections, maintaining a high standard of safety and project integrity.
- Coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and design teams, for seamless project progression.
- Resolving complex project issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions are implemented.
- Guaranteeing that projects are completed on time and meet the highest quality standards.
The Construction Project Manager
- Either holding or actively working towards MRICS, CIOB, or APM certifications.
- A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) within a Construction Consultancy environment, evidencing relevant industry experience.
- A strong background in managing projects within the education or healthcare sectors, showcasing sector-specific expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex construction projects with proficiency and professionalism.
- A hard-working, energetic, and committed approach to achieving project excellence.
