A collaborative and innovative Consultancy based in Leeds is actively seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to enhance their team.

This role is pivotal for someone who has a robust background in managing diverse construction projects, particularly within Healthcare, Retail, or Public Sector environments.

The Construction Project Manager Role

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be deeply involved in the intricate stages of pre-construction and post-contract duties, while ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. You will act as an NEC Project Manager and Employer's Agent, handling contract administration, stakeholder management, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead pre-construction activities and manage programming and development appraisal.
  • Serve as NEC Project Manager and Employer's Agent.
  • Conduct contract administration, consultant procurement, and risk management.
  • Oversee shell monitoring, quality inspections, and landlord liaison.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure effective communication across all project phases.
  • Manage development from risk assessment through to project completion, focusing on Healthcare, Retail, or Public Sector projects.

The Construction Project Manager

  • BSc/MSc in Project Management or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in a consultancy environment, managing projects across Healthcare, Retail, or Public Sector.
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts and experience performing the role of Employer's Agent.
  • Demonstrable skills in stakeholder management and team leadership.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery, managing all phases of construction projects.
