The Chartered Fire Engineer's Role

In this pivotal role, the Chartered Fire Engineer will work closely with the Head of Fire Engineering, taking charge of a variety of projects. This role is inherently dynamic, with a focus on leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and efficient team management. The successful candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of current fire compliance regulations and the agility to stay ahead of the evolving industry standards, ensuring the consultancy remains a leader in fire safety engineering.

The Chartered Fire Engineer

• Boasts a minimum of 4 years' proven experience in Fire Engineering, underscored by notable achievements and expertise.
• Is either a Chartered Engineer in fire or is in the process of attaining chartered status, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth and excellence.
• Holds a solid academic background with a degree in Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field, crucial for developing robust technical and analytical capabilities.
• Exhibits leadership skills, including experience in team management, highlighting an ability to inspire, direct, and cultivate talent within the consultancy.
• Proficient in FREAW's (Pas 9980) with a strong record in leading client-facing meetings and engagements, showing exceptional communication and project management abilities.
• Has extensive experience in the Residential, Healthcare, and Commercial sectors, providing deep insights into these essential areas along with the skill to navigate their specific challenges and opportunities.
• Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit, proven by business development efforts, strategic relationship building, and a proactive approach to driving growth and innovation within the consultancy.
