The Chartered Fire Engineer's Role

This critical role demands direct collaboration with the Head of Fire Engineering, placing the Chartered Fire Engineer at the helm of diverse projects. The ideal applicant will bring a deep understanding of current compliance fire regulations and an ability to keep pace with the industry's evolving standards, ensuring the consultancy's leadership in fire safety engineering continues.

The Chartered Fire Engineer

  • Possesses at least 4 years of demonstrable experience in Fire Engineering, underlined by significant achievements and proficiency.
  • Is either a Chartered Engineer in fire or is actively pursuing chartered status, highlighting a dedication to professional development and excellence.
  • Has a robust educational foundation with a degree in Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline, essential for developing strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities, including team management experience, showcasing an ability to motivate, lead, and develop talent within the consultancy.
  • Skilled in FREAW's (Pas 9980) and has a proven track record of leading successful client-facing meetings and engagements, evidencing superior communication and project management skills.
  • Brings extensive experience in the Residential, Healthcare, and Commercial sectors, offering a profound understanding of these critical areas along with the capability to address their unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Exhibits an entrepreneurial mindset, evidenced by activities in business development, strategic relationship building, and a proactive stance on fostering growth and innovation within the consultancy.
