Building Surveyor

A bespoke architectural practice, known for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence, is actively seeking a driven Building Surveyor to become a vital part of their Bristol team.

This position offers a unique opportunity for a Building Surveyor with a passion for heritage to engage in a wide range of projects across the South West, including sectors such as commercial, cultural, education, residential, and hospitality.

The Building Surveyor role

The successful Building Surveyor will join a dynamic team and play a key role in the delivery of significant heritage projects, contributing to the preservation and renovation of important historical sites.

With a focus on excellence and innovation, the Building Surveyor will be involved in all stages of project delivery, from initial assessments and surveys to the execution and completion of project work.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed building surveys and prepare reports, identifying and advising on heritage conservation requirements.
• Collaborate with architects and project managers to develop and implement restoration and conservation strategies for heritage sites.
• Manage projects across various sectors, ensuring high-quality outcomes that respect historical significance while meeting client needs.

The Building Surveyor

• A proactive and driven individual, keen to contribute to the success of a dynamic team.
• MRICS qualification or working towards it would be highly advantageous, though not essential.
• Proficient in handling projects within commercial, cultural, education, residential, and hospitality sectors.
• Building Surveying experience within a consultancy or similar environment would be beneficial.
