Building Surveyor

A sustainability-focused Construction Consultancy in Oxford is on the lookout for a skilled Building Surveyor to strengthen their team.

The Building Surveyor's role

The successful candidate will be part of a team engaged in a wide range of projects, including flood defense and the conservation of heritage properties within the Oxford educational sector.

• Overseeing the management of design and construction works within the utility sector, focusing on solar farms, battery storage sites, and electricity distribution infrastructure.
• Providing comprehensive Building Surveying services across commercial, educational, and industrial sectors.
• Handling dilapidations, party wall matters, due diligence surveys, building pathology, condition surveys, measured surveys, reinstatement cost assessments, construction monitoring, taking on the principal designer role, and project management of construction or fit-out projects.

The successful Building Surveyor will have?

• MRICS accreditation or working towards
• BSc/ MSc in Building Surveying or a RICS accredited degree
• 2+ years of consultancy experience ideally
• Effective communication, both written and verbal
• Client-facing demeanour and commercially minded
• Full clean driving license
