One of the worlds largest Building Surveying consultancies are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their Leeds office.
The Building Surveyor's role
As the successful Building Surveyor, your main responsibilities will be to support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances, to carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures and take personal responsibility for complying with environmental, health, safety, security and quality standards.
The successful Building Surveyor will be working within commercial, residential, education, sports, nuclear and retail sectors and Building Surveying duties will include pre acquisition surveys, contract administration, dilapidations and party wall matters, with some project management tasks.
The successful Building Surveyor will have?
- MRICS accreditation
- BSc/ MSc in Building Surveying or a RICS accredited degree
- 3+ years of consultancy experience
- Previous management experience would be beneficial
- Effective communication, both written and verbal
- Report writing skills
- Client-facing demeanor
- Full understanding of health and safety requirements
