Building Surveyor

An ambitious and dynamic practice are now looking to bring on board a Building Surveyor to join them in their growing and fun team based in Manchester.

As the new Building Surveyor, you will be working of a full range of building surveying instructions on a variety of commercial properties, including offices, retail and industrial. Typically, you will work on a 50:50 split between professional and project work.

Whilst undertaking the professional work for clients as the new Building Surveyor, you'll cover dilapidations, schedules of condition, party wall awards and defect diagnosis. You will also deliver project work that ranges from £50k to £5million where the firm performs the role of designer, contract administrator, project manager or an employer's agent.

The Building Surveyor

• 1-2 years PQE experience (preferred but not essential)
• Strong work ethic - Can work well in a team and on own initiative
• Be enthusiastic with a confident outlook and positive attitude
• Strong verbal and numerical skills and good report writing skills
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Flexible and ability to work under pressure

In return?

• £35,000 - £45,000
• Company car allowance of £4,000
