Building Services Engineer

A large Facilities Management provider that operates across public, private, and not-for profit sectors are currently seeking a Building Services Engineer to join their expanding team. The role will be based in Surrey and surrounding areas.

The Building Services Engineer Role

Covering the Surrey area, the Building Services Manager, will be predominantly covering commercial properties in the education, private and public sectors. You will be responsible for carrying out planned and fault diagnostic work to various building control systems and other associated equipment within the properties being maintained, including AHU's, pumps, MCC, pressurisation units and FCU.

The Building Services Engineer

Essential

• A suitable City and Guilds or equivalent NVQ qualification
  * NVQ Level 3 / AM2 in relevant Electrical discipline (or equivalent experience)
  * 18th Edition
  * Proven Controls experience, including building optimisers, associated sensors and controls
  * Proven Building Plant experience including, AHU, FCU's, Pumps, Pressurisation units,
  * Good written and verbal communication skills
  * Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
  * Ability to work well on own or as part of team
  * Be able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation
  * Full driving licence
  * Pass DBS background checks for working in schools

Desirable

• Test & Inspection Qualification
  * Proven mechanical knowledge
  * Proven BMS knowledge and skill sets
  * AC Experience
  * Boiler Experience
  * Experience in a similar role and working sectors
