A small, tight-knit and sociable construction consultancy based in Tower Bridge are now requiring a confident Bid Writer / Manager to join them assisting on education, cultural, commercial and healthcare projects.

The Bid Manager Responsibilities

As the successful Bid Manager you will be managing the full process end to end with the assistance of your colleagues, you must be a strong writer; technical writing is not necessary, but strong literacy and grammar is a must.

  • Strong business development skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Quality Assurance
  • Identify new bid opportunities
  • Build bid library of materials
  • Design high quality templates
  • Produce bespoke bids
  • Risk management to ensure all bids are of high quality
  • Coordinate and liaise with relevant parties
  • Achieve sign off for commercial aspects of the bids
  • Maintaining accurate file records

The Successful Bid Manager will have:

  • Business development awareness and skills
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels both written and verbal
  • Ability to understand technical information in order to write a compelling bid
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
