Associate Fire Engineer

A work life balance focused Fire Engineer company is seeking an Associate Fire Engineer to Manage large, complex fire engineering projects, manage a team of Fire Engineers made up of senior Fire Engineers, Fire Engineers and graduates from a remote location.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant engineering degree to Bachelor's level
• Minimum 3 years' experience of working on fire engineering projects
• Minimum 2 years' experience of managing large, complex fire engineering projects
• Minimum 2 years' experience mentoring graduate/fire engineers
• CEng or working towards CEng

Responsibilities

• Associate Fire Engineer responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Assist in the development of fee proposals for large and complex projects
• Management of a team of senior engineers/fire engineers/graduate fire engineers
• Management of health and safety (including mental wellbeing) of team in their work activities
• Delivery and support of the delivery of large, complex projects
• Managing relationships with large clients
• Dissemination of knowledge of latest developments in fire design legislation and techniques
• Team performance management and reporting
• Mentoring and management of team members
• Peer review of other engineers' strategies and reports
• Winning work
