The Assistant Construction Project Manager Role

The successful Assistant Construction Project Manager will play a crucial role in bringing to life large retail and commercial projects, embodying the company's commitment to innovation and excellence.

With a focus on delivering projects that represent best value for money, you will be instrumental in upholding the consultancy's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing retail and commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Work closely with senior project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Engage with clients, architects, and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Implement creative and innovative solutions to overcome project challenges.
  • Contribute to the consultancy's commitment to delivering more for less through efficient project management practices.

The Assistant Construction Project Manager

  • A degree in project management or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience as an Assistant Project Manager within a consultancy environment, ideally with exposure to the retail sector.
  • A strong desire to pursue chartered status, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
  • Proven retail sector experience, showcasing a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within this industry.
  • A proactive attitude, with a track record of taking initiative and driving projects forward.
