An established and reputable Construction Consultancy is actively seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to join their team in Manchester.
This role is particularly suited to individuals who are passionate about playing a vital role in a team known for its deep expertise in managing complex projects, especially in the Retail and Office sectors.
The Assistant Construction Project Manager Role
In this dynamic position, the Assistant Construction Project Manager will immerse themselves in a variety of challenging and rewarding projects within the Retail and Office sectors. This will include involvement in new builds, refurbishments, fit-outs, and more. The role demands a candidate who possesses exemplary communication skills and the ability to continually adapt and innovate throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Construction Project Manager:
- Provide invaluable assistance in managing diverse projects across the Retail and Office sectors.
- Play a pivotal role in projects ranging from new builds to refurbishments and fit-outs.
- Offer support in key areas including occupation and facilities management, lease transactions, and providing expert witness services.
- Work closely on retail projects involving shopping centres, entertainment venues, retail parks, and high street shops.
- Ensure that each project is approached with a creative and innovative mindset to develop unique solutions.
The Assistant Construction Project Manager
- A relevant degree in Construction, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience or familiarity with the Retail and Office sectors will be advantageous.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and negotiate.
- An innovative and adaptable approach to solving complex problems.
- Strong commercial awareness with an emphasis on maximising client value.
