Assistant Building Surveyor

An esteemed private property business, boasting a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties across London, is on the lookout for an ambitious Assistant Building Surveyor.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the Director of Building Surveying and play a pivotal role in the upkeep and enhancement of a prestigious property portfolio.

The Assistant Building surveyor's role

As the Assistant Building Surveyor, you will be a key member of a dynamic team, directly contributing to a wide array of surveying services.

• Assisting in comprehensive building surveying duties across a mixed portfolio of commercial and residential properties.
• Conducting detailed building pathology inspections to assess and report on property conditions.
• Managing dilapidations processes for various properties, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Preparing and reviewing licenses for alterations, as well as schedules of conditions.
• Being actively involved in refurbishment projects, contributing to both planning and execution phases.

The successful Assistant Building Surveyor will have?

• A degree in Building Surveying either BSc or MSc.
• Some experience in a building surveying role, preferably with a similar practice.
• Ideally part way through APC process or keen to begin.
• A proactive approach, with a willingness to take on varied responsibilities and challenges.
• Ideally experience with dilapidations.

In return?

• £35,000 - £45,000.
