SHEQ Advisor

Opportunity to join one of the largest providers of property services in the UK, who are going through exponential growth and seek a dynamic SHEQ Advisor to join their dedicated team in the South East - ideal base Kent / Surrey.

An exciting opportunity to be involved with the regeneration and refurbishment of a portfolio of properties across London, Surrey & Kent to include planned maintenance, roofing, fire safety projects, refurbishment and refits. Flexibility in a fast paced environment is key as no two days will be the same and you will manage your own diary supporting 10-13 projects with flexible working.

Your Role as SHEQ Advisor

• Provision of specialist SHEQ advice to colleagues & subcontractors
• Periodic risk assessments & implementation of robust procedures where required
• Instilling and leading on positive behaviours across operational teams
• Ensuring contractors are compliant

As SHEQ Advisor you will

• Lead and support continued improvement of SHEQ performance
• Promote and deliver SHEQ strategy and a positive ethos
• Possess an in-depth understanding of health and safety and how it relates to property maintenance
• Previous experience in a similar sector - property services, maintenance, building refurbishment or experience of construction related projects
• Experience of engagement with project teams and supply chain partners
• Monitor site performance and guide and advise on implementation of business management systems, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• GradIOSH and working towards CMIOSH
• Nebosh Construction and/or NCRQ equivalent, Nebosh Diploma the ideal
