An extremely well regarded medium sized high-end residential Refurbishment Contractor in Central London is seeking a Senior Site Manager to help manage a demanding workload.

The Company

The Senior Site Manager will join a medium sized Main Contractor with over 70 employees.

Projects are entirely focused on the high-end residential refurbishment market in their client's own homes. Up to 10 construction sites are always running simultaneously with a portion of staff on each site being directly employed by the company.

The company currently has a confirmed pipeline of works going through until late -2022 and therefore are looking for someone to join their close-knit team with longevity and loyalty in mind.

The refurbishment projects typically take place in prime Central London and vary from £5 million to £15 million refurbishments and extensions.

The company truly believe in supporting and developing their team members. With some team members having worked and progressed there for over 30 years.

The Senior Site Manager role

The Senior Site Manager will be site based in (Chelsea / Kensington / Regents Park) and responsible for ensuring the effective management of site, program and any risks that may cause issue.

Working in coordination with the project manager and construction director you will oversee a single site at any given time and will report directly to him and the managing director.

You will manage a family of sub-contractors that have an established record for delivering an outstanding level of service.

On a weekly basis you will report to the management team with a keen focus on customer satisfaction, commercial direction, and risk management.

The Person

The Senior Site Manager will have a keen eye for detail and be able to anticipate and minimise any disruption to the schedule of works.

You will

• Extensive experience in high end residential refurbishments
• Minimum of 5+ years of onsite Management experience
• A keen eye for detail and high quality finished
• A track record for delivering these types of projects
• Excellent organisational & team management skills
• Able to design and deliver demanding and complex refurbishment programmes
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with people at all levels
• Ability to multitask and deliver multiple projects
• A valid driving licence
