An innovative, award-winning independent Cost and Project Management Consultancy is looking for a client-facing Senior Quantity Surveyor with Employer's Agent experience to join their energetic Liverpool office.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

This exciting opportunity will see the Senior Quantity Surveyor integrate into a lively team of 7 Quantity Surveyors, within a larger group of 15-20 professionals, based in Manchester.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will assume a dual role, handling both Quantity Surveying and Employer's Agent responsibilities across a diverse array of Social Housing projects. This position offers a balanced mix of office, site, and home working, typically requiring three days at the office or site and the remainder from home, with all projects conveniently located within the Northwest region, ensuring an excellent work-life balance.

This role requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record in Employer's Agent services for Social Housing schemes. The consultancy is committed to providing significant career advancement opportunities to the Associate Director level, along with comprehensive support for professional development and Chartership through their highly regarded internal APC program.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be a proactive individual who excels in a collaborative and supportive setting and is eager for career progression and personal development. You will also have:

  • A construction related degree qualification (ideally BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying)
  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a UK Construction Consultancy
  • Experience running Social Housing projects from inception to completion
  • Experience working in an Employers Agent role
  • MRICS is highly desirable or someone in need of support to achieve chartership
