Senior Principal Designer

A dynamic and renowned multi-disciplinary construction consultancy are looking for a Principal Designer to join their high growth H&S team in Linconshire.

The consultancy specialises in residential, education, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and student accommodation sectors.

The Principal Designer's Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and promoting best practices in health and safety.

The Principal Designer will

• Develop and review Construction Phase Plans (CPPs) and Pre-construction Information (PCIs)
• Manage design risk and provide CDM advice to clients and design teams
• Conduct health and safety audits and inspections
• Facilitate CDM workshops and training sessions

The successful Principal Designer

• A strong background in construction or design with specific Principal Design delivery experience
• Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety
• Membership with professional bodies such as IOSH or APS
• Proven experience working within a consultancy environment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A proactive and positive attitude with commitment to continuous professional development
