A leading multidisciplinary Construction Consultancy is now on the hunt for a Senior Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Birmingham.
The Senior Construction Project Manager Role
The incoming Senior Construction Project Manager will work on a wide range of projects, including new build, regeneration, commercial, residential, and education schemes. The role involves working as part of a multi-skilled team alongside internal and external partners, executing project work.
You'll work closely with the Director, managing your own diary, and enjoy a relaxed, collaborative environment with plenty of opportunities for professional growth.
As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you'll lead a variety of projects and mentor junior PMs. Your responsibilities will include client liaison, project programming, and acting as the Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent. You'll appoint and manage professional teams, conduct site inspections, and prepare appraisal and feasibility reports, design proposals, and working drawings. You'll also handle contract administration, analyze tenders, and oversee delegated tasks while ensuring successful outcomes. This role offers excellent growth prospects and contributes to the expansion of the Birmingham office.
The Senior Construction Project Manager
You will be hands-on, client facing and capable of working both independently (due to the flexible nature of the role) and a part of the wider team. Alongside this, you will have:
- Previous Project Management experience in the Construction industry
- Previous Project Management experience within a UK Consultancy firm
- A RICS Accredited degree qualification is highly desirable
- BSc (Hons) degree or equivalent in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, or Project Management, along with relevant professional experience
- Accredited by RICS, APM or CIOB - or committed to achieving
- A successful track record managing projects from inception to completion through all RIBA stages
