A prestigious, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Construction Project Manager.

This outstanding opportunity is based in their brand-new Manchester office, which marks a significant expansion aimed at reinforcing their presence in the Northwest.

The Senior Construction Project Manager Role

The successful Senior Construction Project Manager will be pivotal in managing a diverse portfolio of residential projects, with a primary focus on medium to high-rise student accommodations. These ambitious projects range in value from £100m to £400m.

As the Senior Construction Project Manager, you will:

  • Lead and oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring all projects adhere to the predefined quality, budget, and timeline objectives.
  • Serve as the right-hand person to the Project Director, providing crucial support in steering projects towards successful completion.
  • Develop and nurture lasting relationships with key clients, thereby cementing the consultancy's sterling reputation in the industry.

The Senior Construction Project Manager

  • Proven experience in the residential sector, especially in high-rise and build-to-rent projects.
  • Chartered status such as MRICS or MCIOB, demonstrating your commitment to professional excellence.
  • A degree in Engineering, Construction Project Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with a history of mentoring and advancing junior staff.
  • A portfolio that includes managing large-scale, complex construction projects valued over £50m.
