Senior CDM Consultant / Principal Designer

A health and safety construction consultancy in South West of London is seeking an experienced Senior level CDM Consultant to join their Health and Safety team to offer a comprehensive range of professional health and safety services to the construction industry. This role is a remote working position.

As a valued Senior CDM Consultant, you will be able to advise some of the company's largest clients pre-construction teams on all aspects of health and safety, CDM Regulations and H&S risk prevention.

The role of the Senior CDM Consultant / Principal Designer

The successful CDM Consultant is responsible for:

• Able to fulfil role of Principal Designer and Advisor to Principal Designer under CDM 2015
• Ability to undertake Health & Safety Site Inspections and Risk Assessment
• Be able to produce F10 Notifications on behalf of Clients
• Be able to produce Pre-construction Information, Construction Phase Plans, Method Statements, Design Risk Management & Risk Registers
• Attend client and team meetings acting as advisor on Health and Safety and CDM
• Assist and support the Health and Safety Manager when required, develop and improve consultancy service, both internally and externally
• Assist and support the Health & Safety and CDM team

The Successful CDM Consultant

The successful CDM Consultant should hold the following:

• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
• Membership of the Association for Project Safety and IOSH
• An understanding of CDM Regulations 2015
• An understanding of the design and pre-construction phase and principles of prevention
• Qualified in a design or engineering related discipline preferable
• Ability to work on multiple projects and manage time effectively
