Senior Building Surveyor

A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Building Surveyor to join a busy, fast-paced multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Ipswich.

The Senior Building Surveyor role

The successful Senior Building Surveyor will be working closely with the Principal Building Surveyor and supporting the Building Surveying team on a variety of professional services and projects.

The Senior Building Surveyor will be working on projects across the board including demolitions and new builds on educational, healthcare and industrial properties, refurbishments and repairs for historic/listed buildings and everything in between.

The Senior Building Surveyor will be advising clients on the design, condition, maintenance, repair and construction of buildings. This entails condition surveys, planned maintenance, defect analysis, preparing scheme design, planning applications and specialist surveys.

Alongside this, there is an element of core Building Surveying services including party wall, dilapidations, contract administration, employers agent, feasibility studies, acquisitions and measured surveys.

The Senior Building Surveyor

• A Degree in Building Surveying
• Preferably MRICS
• Consultancy experience
• Confident and client-facing individual
• Able to work autonomously as well as successfully within the team
