Quantity Surveyor

A driven and project delivering Quantity Surveyor is now needed to support a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy in Birmingham.

This position is suited for a Quantity Surveyor who is now determined to progress into their first Senior Quantity Surveyor position and taking on more responsibility with clients and younger members of the team.

The Role

The Quantity Surveyor will be supporting projects which will include a £24M refurbishment of a key banking client, a £75M New Build Hotel, £3M fit out of a retail chain of clients and £65M+ Residential schemes.

Pre & post contract handling will be expected, including some elements of Project Management and Employers Agent.

The organisation have a 50/50 split for their employees as they acknowledge a work-life balance is important.

The Quantity Surveyor

Ideally the consultancy would like to see a minimum of 5 years Quantity Surveying experience and;

• BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying
• MRICS is ideal
• Strong pre + post contract knowledge
• Client facing
• Ambitious for progression
• Ability to communicate with clients
