A medium sized Health & Safety Consultancy based near Tower Bridge are seeking a Health & Safety Project Co-ordinator to join their team.

Well established within the Health & Safety industry, this professional organisation are currently expanding and have a significant pipeline of work for 2022.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Project Co-Ordinator.

The successful Health & Safety Project Co-Ordinator will be joining an organisation who firmly believe that their people are their strongest asset and provide strong training and development and understand the importance of a work/life balance.

About the role

The successful Health & Safety Project Co-Ordinator will be working on a number of projects in throughout London.

The successful Project Co-ordinator will provide business support to the technical team. The Project Co-ordinator manages the technical team's procedures, systems and Health and Safety Files for each project.

The successful Project Co-Ordinator will also:

Set up projects for the technical team they support using the BGHS web application and cloud-based SharePoint filing system.

Maintain and update of the web application (PIP) and SharePoint in accordance with the Office Procedures.

Assist the technical staff members with the compilation of the Health and Safety File, manage systems, procedures, and progress charts.

Prepare the Health & Safety File for each project as required by the Regulations. The Health & Safety File for the project, or each structure comprised in the project, must be delivered to the Client upon completion of the construction work for the project structure.

This role is likely to be a combination of office/site based.

The requirements

  • A degree, preferably in Construction or H&S related subject (desired)
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience within a Health & Safety role
  • An excellent understanding of safety and industry requirements
  • Knowledge of the relevant regulatory framework within the construction industry
