Private Client Solicitor

A prestigious law firm, renowned for providing top-tier legal services to both private and commercial clients, is looking for a talented Private Client Solicitor to join their highly regarded team.

The Private Client Solicitor's Role

As a Private Client Solicitor, you will collaborate closely with Partners and other team members to deliver expert lifetime and testamentary tax and estate planning advice. Your duties will include drafting Wills and trust documentation, advising on inheritance tax and capital gains tax issues, and working on complex multinational estates. You will also be involved in trust creation, trust structuring, and working with family-owned businesses on governance and philanthropic efforts.

You will work closely with the firm's tax and trust team, providing a seamless service to both UK-based and international clients. Your role will involve pre-immigration and emigration planning, tax-efficient asset structuring, estate planning in divorce cases, and advising on contentious probate and trust claims.

The Private Client Solicitor

To be successful in this Private Client Solicitor role, you should have:

• A solid background in private client law, with expertise in tax and trust matters.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex matters clearly.
• The confidence and professionalism required to interact with high-net-worth clients and trustees.
• Strong organisational skills, with a proven track record of meeting time and billing targets.
• An ability to work effectively within a team, especially with trust managers and other professionals.
