Principal Designer / CDM Consultant

A modern, highly successful construction consultancy based in the UK but with a global presence are looking to appoint a new Principal Designer / CDM Consultant to add to their ever-growing roster.

Projects will be varied across a variety of sectors but will be predominately focused on commercial property, residential and industrial.

A company that strives on exception service and delivery with multiple offices around the UK, your role will be based out of their London offices.

The role of the Principal Designer / CDM Consultant will include:

• Work as a competent Principal Designer, CDM Consultant and Advisor to Principal Designer
• Provide advice of health and safety and CDM2015 compliance throughout pre-construction and design phase
• Attend regular design team meetings providing CDM support
• Undertake construction site inspections

The Successful Principal Designer / CDM Consultant will ideally hold:

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
• Ideally working towards or have achieved their Diploma level 6.
• Hold professional membership with IOSH, the APS or any other necessary H&S bodies.
• At least 3 years working in a CDM and consultancy environment.
• Excellent planning, organisational, training, teamwork and presentation skills.
• A flexible approach to work with a willingness to travel if necessary.
